Bregma Consulting was founded by Brian Mossop in 2023.

Brian holds a BS in Electrical Engineering (minor in Mathematics) from Lafayette College, a PhD from Duke University in Biomedical Engineering, and postdoctoral training in neuroscience. His scientific research focused on computational models of biological systems and machine learning classifiers to interpret EEG data.

For many years, Brian worked as a science and technology journalist, freelancing for Scientific American and The New Yorker, and was a staff editor at Wired, where he contributed to both the magazine and website.

Brian was also in charge of digital analytics at Wired, helping to drive a three-fold increase in traffic coming to wired.com from owned social efforts.

For nearly a decade, Brian was a senior leader at marketing and PR agencies, coaching analytics teams to multiple global awards for innovation. He helped senior management and C-suite executives at Fortune 500 companies make strategic, data-driven decisions.

Brian formed Bregma Consulting to bring his expertise in artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to the public relations & marketing industry. He has experience on both the engineering and business side of advanced technology, and works with clients to build custom AI solutions and products for their business.
